Mackie Galvez (John Lloyd Cruz), 28, a practicing dentist, lives a life of permanence and stability. After moving on from a ten-year relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Mackie now wants to try out something new. Also an up-and-coming blogger, he was given an offer to write in a major broadsheet. Before officially starting with his work, he parties with his friends and ends up having a one night stand with a woman. The morning after, Mackie feels awkward and doesn't know what to do. He likes this girl but it was clearly just a one night thing. Mackie gets the ultimate surprise when he sees her again in his new workplace and finds out that she is his boss. Princess Medina (Angel Locsin), 27, is a broadsheet editor. Her work is her passion. Her commitment in her work however, is in direct contrast with her relationships. She detests permanence. For Ces, love limits. She makes it clear to Mackie that what happened to them should not interfere with their working relationship. But Mackie's apprenticeship with Ces makes him like her more. They succumb to the physical attraction and sexual tension that they end up having another one night stand which was followed by another and another until it became frequent. Mackie begins to love her but Ces is resolved not to settle with him.
