Ant-Man

I'll admit, when I first heard of Ant-Man and saw the trailer, I was pretty skeptical, but being a Marvel fan, I knew I had to see it to keep up on what's going on in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) Plain and simple, Ant-Man is a wonderful addition to the MCU! This was a refreshing superhero film, different from many of the recent ones Marvel has put out (ex. Captain America: Winter Soldier, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron) which are action-packed from beginning to end. This movie takes on a different pace, although it is never slow or boring. Watching Ant-Man's origin story unfold is very enjoyable and exciting. The characters are a great mix of comical, serious, intense, and relatable and there's just enough action! Contrary to my initial opinions, Paul Rudd was the perfect choice for the role and Scott Lang (Ant-Man) is now one of my favourite Marvel characters. Also, the effects and varying camera angles were really well done! Don't forget to stay until the END of the credits. There is both a mid-credits scene and a post-credits scene that you won't want to miss!
