    Captain America: The Winter Soldier

It seems post-Avengers even the somewhat lame Capt America gets a film he can be proud of. For The Winter Soldier is a pumped up and supremely improved sequel, featuring infinitely better action, snappier writing and I'm guessing almost twice the budget. Can the Capt carry a film on his own like say Tony Stark? Well seeing as how both Scarlett Johanssen's Black Widow and Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury have much more pronounced roles than in previous entries I guess the answer would be no. Yet the film avoids the mistakes made by the original and keeps the film going at such a breathless pace that the hero whose name is above the title really doesn't matter. It's one big, action-packed blur, but in a good way. Not as good as The Avengers but as good as any of the solo efforts thus far. It's clear Marvel wants to up the ante for each sequel but with Capt America 3 a certainty at this point I really think this is as good as they could do with the Capt at the helm.
