Hannibal Rising

This movie attempts to explain how Hannibal Lecter became such an interesting and fascinating monster. Instead, it relates the story of a character that is a cannibal and a killer. These are the only two connections between the Hannibal in this movie and the one in the others. In my opinion, the movies fails to give the viewer anything "psychological". Yes, there is some blood (not gory enough), yes there are action scenes, but those elements make this an action movie instead of the psychological thriller it's supposed to be. I felt like this was the fist movie ever made by this director (which is not the case) because it's really bad and so cheesy! There are so many useless characters, so many useless scenes, dialogues are very unrealistic, a stupid love story... well the perfect mix to make a bad movie.
