Ice Age: Continental Drift

So, so, so disappointing. What happened guys? I kept waiting for the laughs but only a handful got through. Sid and his Grandmother were the only saving grace, but lack of screen time for both of these characters forced this boat to sink before it left the dock. Even the famous Scrat couldn't pull this garbage barge out of the harbor. I haven't been to an animated movie where no one, not even the kids didn't laugh. The silence quickly became very uncomfortable. It's not the plot, or the characters themselves but I think it was the lack of direction and terribly unfunny jokes. Not to mention an overload of new and uninteresting characters. The low rating I gave is because the last three Ice Ages have set such a high standard for pure comedic delight but this one is quite simply a failure across the board. Fans will be disappointed I'm afraid. Here's hoping the inevitable 5th installment will rise again to the series original heights. Very disappointed!
