Two gringos immerse themselves in the daily life of survival in the community of El Limonal in Nicaragua. Located between a sewage plant, cemetery and garbage dump, El Limonal is known as the 'circle of death', yet this is where an entrepreneurial community of 3,000 people find ways to survive. Scavenging through the garbage, as the locals do, Jess Rothenburger and Warren Fitzgerald dig below the surface to discover if there is a difference between 'us and them'. Their journey reveals that searching for answers is never a waste.
