Original language: Russian"Life sentence. Risk of escape. Aggressive. Three murders", that is what is written at Boris Bezotechestvo's cell door. Like Citizen Kane's "No trespassing" sign, that warning is there only for the camera to ignore, and that's what Alexander Gutman does as he fearlessly infiltrates the perennial intimacy of a regular day in the life of a convicted felon. Without any stylization and keeping itself from making prison survival into a spectacle -- miles away from the gruesomeness of a prison's reality show -- , this documentary manages to capture every nuance of Bezotechestvo's lonely routine, from his energetic impulses to his reclusive sadness.

Technically, Adblockers explicitly modify the intended functionality of a website. They are not perfect, and unfortunately they interfere by blocking or disabling parts of our website which are not even related to ads.
And even more important is the fact that we wouldn't exist without advertising. It is the only source of revenue to keep this website free. Accepting to see ads on our website is a very small price to pay to show appreciation for our work. And it's a lot of work to maintain a website like ours.
