Image directing a play about your own life, as it happens and that the lines between reality and play get blurred. Charlie Kaufman has done some great films in the past and Philip Seymour Hoffman is one of my favorite actors, but this film is definitely not for everyone. When your life is a mess and your play about your life is an equal mess, what do you do? It is hard to tell what is real and what is not and those who like more straightforward stories will just find this film annoying, but for those who find the plot interesting, it is worth a watch.
