Gerard Butler's character was expected to play more of a part but he practically had nothing. Not as cheesy as I expected, but with surprising twists and funny parts mixed into the sadness. Seriously, if you cried through the entire movie, you must have emotional problems of your own because it is not that sad. Definitely a chick flick but it was overall an enjoyable movie. Good for theater or rental.
