The "serious" moments are laughable and Charlize Theron's character is completely worthless. However, Nick Stahl, AnnaSophia Robb and Dennis Hopper pull off some very impressive performances, but their rich characterizations are not enough to change this rating. Overall, a poorly executed film and another good story gone to waste. Best to invest your 2hrs doing something worth while.
