I went into this movie not knowing what to expect but was blown away with what I found. Taboo is a beutifuly told story about the last days of the Samarai in Japan. Ryuichi Sakamoto's music is earily haunting and drive the mood of the movie well. All the acting in the movie is superb, leaving you wondering about all the hidden agendas each character has, and not giving too much away. You leave the movie with a hundred questions and you know that the answers are hidden in the movie for you to find. It's been awhile since a movie has left me thinking this much. I highly recommend it to anyone who has any interest what so ever in ancient Japan or love stories for that matter.
