Although the movie is very heavy in battle sequences, I wouldn't call it a masterpiece though. But it is definitely uplifted by the strong spirit and development of it's extended version. This one in my opinion has the best extended version out of the entire series. The build-up is steady and brings the movie into a strong structure. It has the most important parts of the entire series. And Peter Jackson does very well putting them together. I just didn't like this one as of being an amazing masterpiece because it's nothing special. I enjoyed it, it's probably in my top 20, but not in my top 10. But everything in this movie is stellar. All in all, it's a pretty good show. (8/10)
