The Adverts for "Stay" seem to portray a psychological thriller. I, however, found it to be more of a psychological drama. Not that thats a bad thing, but if you are expecting action, you will be disappointed. Definitely comparable to Donnie Darko, it is confusing and seems meaningless at times, and the ending will not satisfy if you like your movies to be well explained. I walked out last night trying to figure out what all the pieces added up to, but this afternoon I still find myself totally confused. I would recommend this film to anyone who likes drama. And definitely to anyone who could figure out Donnie Darko (I am still working on that one! ) The actors were very believable (although Ewan McGregor's accent was weird), and the visual effects were quite nice. This would probably be better as a rental though, so once you get to the end, you can watch it again and try to figure it all out..
