He's typecast, so you should already know what you're getting into. If you thought it was going to be something completely different, you obviously didn't watch the previews. The movie was "okay". I say that because I actually enjoyed the story line. I liked the characters, and I liked the idea of what the movie wanted to get across. If they had chosen someone different than McConaughey, the movie probably would have been better. It's not that he was a poor actor for this movie, its that he just doesn't appeal to the 20-something female anymore. He's starting to look his age, and its only emphasized when its blown up on a huge theatre screen. If you are in the mood for a relaxing, girly, don't-need-to-think kind of afternoon movie, then I say definitely watch this one.
