As the two contempoary researchers delve deeper into the victorian lovers past they are swept up in the rapture of thier burning love that they yearn to experience themselves. It is always the issue of trust however that holds them back, or has one or the other sometimes both simultaneously bolting out the door. The lackadaisical attitude towards love and intimacey is a continuios repellant but just a shield that the modern day couple affront each other with. But in the end they are aware that unlike the lovers in the past they in the present have the freedom to live the life and love of their own choosing.
