I really didn't like how this image of our culture and history was perpetrated in this film because it makes Newfoundland out to be something that we're really not. But I guess from all the comments that I've read here that it's only been the Newfoundlanders seeing these problems, and not foreigners. I guess that means that nobody really noticed this and still wish to come and visit Newfoundland, and for this I'm glad, cause we really aren't like the movie makes us out to be.
