From the opening scene I knew I was in trouble. I kept telling myself the terrible acting had to be on purpose because it was so blatant and plagued just about everyone on screen. It shouldn't have been such a surprise though as every actor besides Pacino is a virtual unknown or has-been. You'll know the faces, but will be asking yourself when the last time you saw these individuals on screen was. The film is horribly put together with all kinds of names and events to keep track of that really do nothing for the story at all (by the way, unless you're writing for the Pink Panther series who the hell names a character Guy LaForge? ) The one thing you can count on in the film is Pacino's incessant cell phone ring tone which will annoy you to no end and is equaled only by one of the stupidest bad-guy catch phrases in movie history "Tick, tock Doc..." People (18 of us poor souls in the theatre) were actually laughing out loud during most of the film. It wasn't the good kind of laughter either, but the "are they kidding? " kind. Terrible film!
