An extravagant and ethereal movie. Hrithik's has gone way and beyond, terrific performance, very good homework by him ( but his general emotional personality sort of made Akbar's personality a little soft ) As usual Aish gave her best in the crying scenes, somehow, she could not carry herself very well as a rajput princess, But overall, she was a good match for Hrithik compared to any other bollywood lady. By the way, she looked gorgeouzzz. Khwaja-ji was the most well-suited with Rahman's voice floating through the air. Disappointing that melifluous Jashn-e-bahaara was not in the main movie, but guess that was welcome to help cut short the looongg movie. As somebody pointed out, not much of a flow in the movie, Guess Ashutosh was torn between giving the movie its due for the romance and Akbar's empire details. All his research was not wasted anywhere ;) This surely was a great history refresher, a very alive and beautiful one (unlike the history classes which came right after lunch break :)) )
