I normally don't mind slow moving, talkie films but I was twitching in my seat waiting for it to be over. I went to the movie because of what looked to be a great cast. Unfortunately the better actors (Weisz, Portman and Strathairn) could not salvage this film and the direction was amateurish at best. I was left wondering what the hole point of the movie was. Something profound about modern life in big cities, no doubt, but it didn't come across. Many close ups of vanilla ice-cream melting over blueberry pie, which amounted to a pile of nothing, in my view. The food looks tasty, but the movie is not. (3/10)
