Thomas is reminiscent of Norman Bates, I laughed on several occasions... the movie is about as thrilling as its boundaries allow it to be... halfway through there was a couple that left the theatre, probably too "scary" for the female of the relationship, I thought to myself "wow, imagine if this was SAW IV"... what a waste of good admission money, she deserves the Ludovico technique (see A Clockwork Orange).. anyway, back to the movie... aside from the predictable surprise attack towards the end, it's a memorable thriller... definitely go see it.
