You knew right from the start his character as Radio was in some way mentally handicapped without having to know the full details. You felt his pain and lonliness. And Ed Harris portrayed a compassionate coach who went out of his way to make Radio's life a little better. This movie was great for the family. My 13 year old didn't want to watch it at first... but was engrossed into the movie - not long into it, I asked him what he thought of it so far... he approved! I think everyone can learn some life's lessions from this film.
