Because it's an excellent movie. It keeps you on the edge of your seat almost the whole way through. I thought the actors were all great (from the stars to the extras) and boy-there was a lot of suspense and action. I think this movie could be divided into 3 main action sequences: the elevator, the bus and the subway. Personally, I found the part with the subway to be an over-use of the main concept. I think the movie would have been better without the out of control subway train, especially after all that great stuff with the out of control bus and elevator. But this criticism aside, it's really a great movie and if you haven't already seen it, you really should.
