Because of this, the entire middle of the movie is hard to sit through. It's just dumb. However the last third of the movie is SO GOOD and so effective that I can't call this a bad movie at all. It totally works. Basically every scene from the commercials are bad, every scene not in the commericals are good. I think the movie would have been amazing if it had really focused on the last third and epilogue of the movie. The story then was more interesting and more effective. I think they could have raced through the first 2 acts of the movie MUCH faster and got most of the bucket list over with. Then we hit the drama and when you have Morgan Freeman and Jack Nickelson in your movie, you had better play up the drama, and not so much the ineffective comedy. (4/10)
