I saw Morgan Spurlock's "Where in the World is Osama bin Laden? " not knowing what to expect. Spurlock can best be described as a less overbearing, less preachy, skinny Michael Moore. What the movie discovers aside of being an interesting travelogue, is that human being are fundamentally alike. They are alike in wanting peace for themselves, security for their children and a better world for everyone they know or don't know. Spurlock attempts to understand what factors moulded bin Laden, but only really scratches the surface. He comes across as a well intentioned, well meaning, but ultimately arrogant/innocent liberal abroad, (not unlike a fair number of his fellow Americans) I would recommend this film if only for its visits into foreign locales. Anyone looking for a great message or geopolitical revelation in this film are bound to be disappointed. This film could be more appropriately titled," It's a small world afterall."
