In fact, she's a bonafide vixen who causes mayhem for all the men unfortunate enough to fall under her spell. This is Liv Tyler's 1st role as a "WOMAN" in a commercial movie and she runs with it. There is nothing innocent about her actions but she plays the part of "Jewel" so deftly we can see why Goodman, Dillon & Reiser's characters might fall so completely for her con. Funny, sexy and nicely paced. Yes, it's not high art but it's well above the average comedy out there right now. The Michael Douglas character alone makes this movie well worth it.
