In certain scenes when you do not require words to tell what the characters are feeling and thinking, you know it is a great movie. Their facial expressions are the words. This movie has that rare quality. The acting was outstanding. Some people may not like a tragic love story taken in India in the 1940's during British rule. But those of you who like a good drama that has a steady pace then it is a must see. I'm not sure why this movie is not on a wider release.
