Therefore I knew what the movie was going to be about, but didn't know the plot line as I hadn't read the book that goes with the doll. I took my mom with, to celebrate her 75th birthday. She was born in 1933 so she could relate to Kit's era. She enjoyed the movie immensely! So did my Dad; he kept commenting on the old cars! It was a very well done movie, and I was pleased with it. I'm rather tired of violent, crazed movies, so this hit the spot!
