Mekhi Phifer is riviting as he plays the role of Odin James who is the only black student in the school, who is also the star basketball player on his high school team. The story is a modern reinactment of the Original play Othello by Shakespeare. Julia Stiles is marvelous as she plays the role of Desi, Odin's girlfriend. Josh Hartnett and others make this movie the on the edge of your seats thriller that it is. If I were to go into great detail about the movie, I would just spoil it for those who haven't seen it, and seeing as how it is obviously not playing in theaters any longer, I would definitely recommend that U go and see it. It's full of everything you would be looking for in a modern Shakespearean movie.
