I loved it, too bad Gooding was snubbed. I thought his acting was great.

Accosionally, I bought a DVD of this film. Ed Harris was 53 years old at that time and he looked a little older. But I just wanna say, "His performance is still natural, truly! But there is a shame that he didn't get a nominee of "BEST ACTOR" in the beginning of 2004. Last but not least, I hope that Ed Harris could give us more and more BEST films. I will support you forever whatever you do! I like calling him "Gen. Hummel".

I rented this movie, as I really like ALL the main actors in it. My husband and I kept waiting for it to get "better". An absolute waste of time. I would never ever recommend it. To be kind is a given. No point to the story at all.

Awesome movie! Very compelling and moving story. Cuba Gooding, Jr. did a fantastic job -so good that even early on in the movie, I forgot he was acting! He was very convincing. You knew right from the start his character as Radio was in some way mentally handicapped without having to know the full details. You felt his pain and lonliness. And Ed Harris portrayed a compassionate coach who went out of his way to make Radio's life a little better. This movie was great for the family. My 13 year old didn't want to watch it at first... but was engrossed into the movie - not long into it, I asked him what he thought of it so far... he approved! I think everyone can learn some life's lessions from this film.

I loved this movie. It was inspiring. It was nice to watch a movie that was not about violence and didn't contain inappropiate language. It is a definite family movie in my book.

Cuba Gooding Jr. was robbed. I didn't see Gigli, but it is hard to believe Ben Affleck deserved a Razzie more than Gooding did for this role. While the story is nice, much of the conflict in it seems forced. Ed Harris, Debra Winger, etc did a good job, but I cringed every time Gooding was on the screen making this a very unenjoyable 109 minutes.
