Would have been a nice A & E special; didn't see the point of having it in Imax though. Not worth seeing on the big screen.

I found the movie boring, not a great way to introduce your kids to the mysteries and history of Egypt. With the wealth of material that is available, seemed a half-hearted effort. Very mediocre.

This is not worth the price of admission and is not worthly of imax technology, rather it's a nothing-better-to-do t.v. afternoon show. The science and the history and play acting were all poor. Please don't introduce your kids to this wonderful story via this movie, or the exhibition for that matter. BTW, apparently by checking out the DNA of the mummies, we might find cures today's diseases. Oh but the story is a wonderful one... but not with this telling.

This is nice, educational but it a déjà vu film, that I have seen on TV, but I like watching it on IMAX screen, it felt like beeing in the cript with the pharaons.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] I was pretty disappointed. It started out ok retelling the discovery of The Valley of the Kings but they really didn't show us anything interesting (they could of at least showed as the experimental mummy) and they kind of leave you hanging...

I loved the documentary but it ended without knowing if the DNA sample from the mummies were extracted successfully.

Was a good movie, but lacked the grip of most others. Go see Dinosaurs Alive instead.

The movie had a great buildup. It was masterful in the retelling of the discovery of the Valley of the Kings, Rosetta stone and other related tales. However, it raised expectations that the secrets of the Mummies' DNA will be revealed but did not actually follow up with concrete facts. (for a sequel? )

Very interesting! Could be even better if it was 3-d! Well worth seeing.
