[...] I am 7 years old. I saw the movie with my mom and my friends. I think the movie was amazing because it was about God's creation and he created the earth for people to live on it forever and enjoy life and be happy.

What Can I say? I am very disappointed about this movie, because I have watched them on BBC and I even remember many of the scene on my "Planet Earth" DVD, people who like documentary must have watched them already , it is not a new movie.

Very pretty film to look at, but it did fail to evoke a real emotional response from me. I was left feeling very aware of the editing, removing the fatal aspect of wild animals from the film. It also could have done more to show man's impact on the planet.

Really, when it comes to most nature/animal movies, you can't go wrong, but this movie is above and beyond the average nature movie. I loved it!

Absolutely fascinating film. I was on the edge of my seat almost the entire movie. I laughed and I cried a little too here and there. I suppose one has to be a bit of a nature lover to really enjoy this film.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] This movie was amazing, but alittle bit killing. And it could be better if it wasn't only the baby's that got killed. GO SEE IT NOW.

So so. It would have been much better, the scene in the film were fascinating indeed, but during the film it was very boring, not really a story line there, umm I guess I expected too much out of it, I was sleep----y~!!!

This movie was beautiful, I really enjoyed the animals that it focused on. I also had no idea that those types of birds that are featured even existed. Beautiful, a must see!

Breathtaking. Seriously, I couldn't blink. It's a little eye candy, I don't usually give a 10, but this one really was a masterpiece... I don't know how they made the movie, or where they took the scenes from, it doesn't really matter to me, I simply recommend it (maybe not to little children though, that's true...) The music and narration (James Earl Jones!) was amazing too :)

Absolutely despicable. They reproduced Planet Earth by summarizing dozens of hours of footage into an hour and a half. The worst part of paying to see something already on video was that, in the narrative, they misled the viewer by falsifying the information regarding the events that were happening. At one point they show antelope (or something like am antelope) walking through sand dunes in a desert, and the narrator led you to believe that this is where these animals lived. If you watched Planet Earth, you were shown that lions were hunting these animals and they entered this uninhabitable portion of the desert because the lions couldn't follow then here. Eventually the antelope would have to leave this area, however, to find food. All throughout this movie they show snippets like this of full stories shown in Planet Earth, and totally misinterpret the snippet for the audience. It was like someone said," pretend the audience is stupid - now narrate to that". One of the most ridiculous lines were - "Don't worry about the penguins, they have the aurora australis to look at". What? There were little facts. This was not educational. Basically I paid to see a screen saver. Unbelievably shameful. If you want to learn about nature - go buy Planet Earth.

It's worth watching if you can't get enough of nature, animals, etc. This is more like a summary of the BBC Planet Earth... same images, different narrator. If you've watched the entire Planet Earth series, don't pay to watch a collage of it...

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] This movie wasn't that great I thought it would be way better, the place was packed and I got to see it with my friend because my mom couldn't get a ticket even thought there was a a lout of seats, but anyway the cinematography was good but I thought they would give more facts. All the good parts ended up with an animal dead my friend and I were crying though basically the whole movie all and all it wasn't that great:(

Visually appealing! Good family film. Some interesting images, but its more like a collage of great shots, with a decent voice over, rather than a traditional film with a coherent story, or documentary.

Good movie, if you've watched several other movies / shows in this genre (nature), then you may feel like you seen it all before (one part overlaps 'Arctic Tale' if you seen that), good for several laughs, great camera work, not as good as 'Planet Earth' but very good to compact that many stories / animals / locations into an hour and a half film, which actually felt alot longer then that. Glad I seen it and would watch it a second or third time.

Very good movie! It shows the beauty of life and the planet. It is not a depressing 'we're killing the world' sort of movie. Instead, it focuses on the relationship between animals, their habitats, and the Earth. You'll enjoy this movie, even if you're a teenager :) Not some boring documentary, a truly spectacular movie. Disney's best nature film so far.

So so, worth if you don't pay. I have the entire Planet Earth series on Bluray... So this is kind of pointless methinks.. Although the actual Planet Earth series I would give a 9/10.

If you have the Planet Earth Series, don't bother seeing this movie. It is a poorly patched together movie of scenes directly lifted from Planet Earth. They changed the narrator and little else. It seems like a money grab from Disney!

A nice attempt to make a story about Earth, its tilt, the seasons and the circle of life. For those who enjoyed the BBC series," Planet Earth"," Blue Planet"," Life of Birds" or "Life of Mammals", you will probably find it quite disappointing because "Earth" seems to be a simple summary or compilation of previous BBC footage. However for those who are not familiar with the BBC series, you definitely need to see this. It puts everything in a good perspective, crossing the continents and oceans to show you how animals are struggling to survive, and humans are just making it harder. Most of the scenes are rare footage/unique moments and it's a must for that!

The photography is breathtaking and the images are moving, intense and gripping. However what could have been a truly great film is seriously diminished by an intrusive and predictable musical score, and even more so and by an inane and ridiculously anthropomorphic narration more fit for a grade three class than a serious documentary. As if the animal world were a Disney movie.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Fantastic footage, but no depth to it really, just a collection of disjointed stories with a great stress on death - either animals dying from lack of food and water, or due to being hunted down by predators. I do understand this is life, but I found it too focused on this aspect."Here's a cute baby animal, here's how it's killed." Not appropriate for young children. My 4 year old asked to leave at some point and I didn't blame her.

Back in the 50s and 60s Disney produced excellent nature films. ¨Earth¨ is a must see for nature lovers. Unfortunately the quality of the screen diminished the enjoyment significantly. I would recommend a DVD presentation rather than theatre #5 at the Kirkland Theatre Complex!!! The viewers should have received a refund.

The movie itself was fair... some of the visuals were stunning. The story is quite random and has no real direction. The story of the male polar bear I have seen on Discovery before, so I was SUPER disappointed knowing that this isn't even a special feature, rather than a bunch of pre-played discovery clips. ALSO The MOST ANNOYING THING about this stupid movie was all the women and girls going "awww" or "oh look at thaaaT" and pointing and whining. YES we can all see it now [...] and watch the movie!!! Don't go and see it if there are lots of people in the theater is SUPER annoying.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Most of the footage was from Planet Earth the DVD series. There were a few scenes which I had never seen before such as lions versus adult elephant, and those were excellent. The movie was a great way to relax and can be enjoyed by children as well as adults. There were some moving scenes of animals in mortal peril and also some tree dwelling ducklings making an attempt at flying that had me laughing my butt off. If they made a two hour movie of those ducks trying to fly, I'd pay another ten bucks to go see that.

Very, very, very good!!! Although I have seen the Planet Earth Series and the movie is a bunch of recycled material, I loved it! Anyone who likes animal movies will like this. Even people who don't like animal movies (such as myself) will like this. Can't wait to see the Underwater one they previewed also!!

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] A great film. An easy 10/10 except there was too much killing. It was sad with the starving polar bear, the elephant getting attacked by lions, the classic cheetah/caribou and the poor seal getting swallowed whole by the great white. The camera was amazing, though.
