It's a great show and I think other theaters should see it to.

What a great idea. Put 3 of rocks guitarist from 3 different generations together and let them connect and play music. What a showcase. There's nothing like watching Jimmy Page and listening to his stories. Being the man that turned the blues into something it never thought it could be, it was mesmerizing to see him and hear him play. For me that was it. It was interesting to see the different personalities. Jack White and The Edge where two interesting individuals. Either way, each of them used their strengths and passion to get them to the top of Rock and Rolls elite. I certainly enjoyed it. Recommended to anyone remotely involved in/Fan of Rock music.

Not that great. Very average, very choppy needed some better editing.

You like music and personality? See this! Great photography charts the musings of three musicians who tell of paths traveled to find their own voices on guitar. Resonant and rewarding on the big screen!

First movie I've been to where no one got up as the credits rolled. Everyone just sat in awe and watched the three perform. Jack makes a freakin guitar out of an old coke bottle and a 2 by 4 for crying out loud! It was awesome.

Very interesting look into the lives and music of the three guitarists. Plus how cool is it to see Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White jamming together. If you like rock and blues music see this film.

This film is important on a number of levels. 1 it is fun and the narrative moves along. You will not be bored and you will experience fresh scenes of spontaneous conversation and music, plus vintage and prior footage in great quality with perfect sound recordings. 2 it highlights three very different musicians and icons of popular culture. Whether you like any one of them is irrelevant, their guitar strokes and compositions have had an impact on our modern cultural landscape. 3 historically this film lays out how the guitar has shaped Western history for the last 100 years. 4 we get three pictures of soul: Page brings out the soul of the guitar itself; Edge shows us the soul trapped in the machine; White struggles to render the soul through a tool he "never wanted to play". 5 it crystallizes these icons so that we know now what not to look for in the contemporary and future guitarist. I gave it a ten, because the writing, picture, sound, and organization are great and for the above reasons that came through very clearly. I would have liked to see where these three guitarists pushed the limits of cultural acceptability, where things get more out of control. The grittier side of making music and music making the musicians. But this was not the point of the film and I respect that.

I just love Led Zep and all they did, but to see Jimmy Page in that movie was just different and really great! You will love every minute of that movie. It's a must! I also 'met' The Edge and Jack White that I did not know as much as Jimmy Page...

If you're a guitar player or ever wanted to be, this is your movie. Three regular guys who happen to be stars, but whose foundation is a love of playing and listening to guitars. Great stuff.

NOt bad. But I would have liked to see more details about how they produce their respective sound... apart from Jack White, he has some issues that annoy me. He comes across as too hysterical, in my view, and ears.

This is an excellent film. I saw it at Toronto Film Fest last year and was worried it wasn't going to get any sort of wider release. If it's playing near you and you're a fan of rock music you have to check it out.
