Nick Falzone is an air traffic control freak. He works at New York's Terminal Radar Approach Control (TRACON) center. TRACON is the chaotic air traffic facility that handles up to 7,000 flights a day. Nick works the radar scopes and he is the best of the best. That is, until Russell Bell comes to town. Russell has come to New York looking for heavier traffic. A rivalry starts between Nick and Russell, a game where the winner, not the loser, could lose it all... his job, his marriage, his mind.
