Loved the book loved the movie, a must see if you like suspense and tired of repetitive holywood blockbusters. Lost of effects and a great ending.

Nice storyline, nicely shot shot. Gives a good taste of Russia and Russian characters. Really enjoyed.

Some special effects, but otherwise a terrible experience!

Not as good as "Night Watch" but still very entertaining. The translation is "iffy" but not so bad. A bit like the "Matrix" but with a European flair and less dumb.

The story and the visual effects are fantastic! It's a delicacy which can be understood by true "connoisseurs"!!

It's good to see some Russian art with such quality on screens. A huge evolution since the first one; great special effects, a lot of imagination in the mysticism and the artistic department (animated subtitles, nice camera shots) This second movie is less dull but there are still some directing oddities. Definitely worth seeing, definitely pleasant coming from Russia, but still some work to do one the scenario and the storyline editing.

Awesome movie with deep idea. Anyone who spent enough time in Russia will see parallels between the movie and life there. Movie puts spotlights and spawns thoughts on current life of Russians very much like Matrix mirrored not-so-obvius sides of American life.

If you liked Nightwatch you'll love this sequel. I'm not sure if they will be able to make the third movie, as this one pretty much wraps everything up. This movie is really worth seeing on the big screen as the special effects are amazing.

Much better than 1st part. Some very good effects - like Alice's ride on the side of COSMOS hotel in moscow, or the exlosion of Ostankino Tower, or the biggest in Europe ferris wheel rolling over Moscow streets. Timur Bekmambetov slowed himself a little, so we can actually see something. Filled with romantic moments. Much more soul in it. And for a chance - it is russians who save the world, not Bruce Willis :))

First of all, again, I'm Russian. And I can't find any word to describe how awful this movie was. Aside from the occasional scenes with good special effects, this movie's a load of crap. It is the dullest, most boring thing I have ever seen. But then again, all recent movies from Russia are like that. Do yourself a favour, watch something made in US instead.
