Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is what I call entertainment. He's fun and brings out the best in the people around him. I pretty much knew what I was getting out of a Disney film. The formula is to always touch the heart of the audience and take us on a journey of sorts through human trials and the ultimate triumph of the human spirit. The casting was excellent and the story was well worth the time spent watching it.

A little lean on acting. At times the actors could be seen reading prompts. Overall, the story line was fantastic and Hollywood came up with a "real values" winner. My wife and I loved it. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a good wholesome movie for the night.

These are the things that I am wondering; why does such a lame attempt to be hilarious make a successful movie? Tell me that. This did not include any intelligent thinking, and or exuberance. I grew very bored while watching it, to say the least. Really, it was demeaning. Just sitting there watching something that resembled so much stupidity, and expected to like it. However, if you like a spoof that has absolutely no story and no planning... Well, I'd like to make it clear that you should not base your decisions upon these ratings. Feel free to agree or disagree... that is... after you've seen the movie!!

Typical young teen comedy with many pranks a gags that can be expected from Hollywood.

Whole special kind of boring -- The Rock was great, don't get me wrong -- -but the little girl was not particularly "cute" in fact her personality (or lack of it) is why the movie failed so hard. Just not worth the Hour and half of your life that you'll never get back.

I have to say this movie gets too high rating here than it deserves.[...] Lag on acting and also watching the film like reading a child's article, more connection would be better. A good movie if you wanna laugh with your family, otherwise I would say go to "into the wild".

It's kinda cheesy in parts, and I'm not really that big on family movies.
