The movie works as a great inspiration piece. The bears and walrus are finding new ways to adapt in a warming world. Will we humans be so ingenious and bold? Nice photography and nice mix of entertainment with information, making it suitable for all ages.

I think that this movie was beautifully filmed and right after seeing it , it made you want to make a difference environmentally for the animals in the arctic. It was entertaining and stimulating movie that I hope will affect the way we think of global warming. I hope you will enjoy this movie!

Visually stimulating to see the beauty of the Arctic (a place I'll never go) Some scenes are hard to watch as you see the reality of scarcity of food take its toll on some species that live in this frozen desert. Educational and motivational in its presentation to make the viewer think about how our choices affect others. A little overkill at the end with the onslaught of "what we can do" statements to change our environment (the movie speaks for itself - the guilt trip from the kids wasn't needed) Enjoy the show!

Very well filmed , it's another National Geographic classic. I shed a tear and came out of the Tinseltown cinema a little down , it gives you a reality kick , makes you realize how little time these species will remain in existence... ;- (

Myself and my 11 year old son have just returned from seeing Arctic Tale. Both of us are "animal lovers" who are the type to shield our eyes when Bambi's Mom is taken by the hunter. The filming is brilliantly 'IMAX-like' that is best seen on a large screen. This film is definitely a well told documentary. National Geographic artfully, but also accurately shows us the wonders and the realities of life in the Arctic circle. Nothing is unnecessarily graphic and they are extremely careful in the portrayal. For example, if the animal is given a human name... nothing bad will happen to it. Also, the movie begins with the miracle of new life and they are careful to end the documentary on an equivalently positive note. So... For all you bambi types like us out there... Take a deep breathe... It's ok. And be sure to stay for the clips that are shown during the credits. They are thought provoking without being preachy.

This movie was sad on account of the fact that there were polar bears looking for ways to get food and obviously. Queen Latifa was telling the story about how bears make their way out of life in the Artic. One thing though children should not go on account it may bring fears when things go sad and noticed many in the audience sort of lost attention but for a teenager who can handle learning the adventures and being able togo through it as I was in tears when the first polar could not survive whle the rest of the family of the bears where trying there best to be able to get some food which took some time and a lot of patience.

Saw this at a preview screening and it is a stunning piece of work. Anyone who knows how hard it is to do anything in the arctic, will be blown away by this. I'm biased - I love great nature stuff. But if you like March of the Penguins, you'll love this. Good for kids too!
