I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!! I have never once seen a Star Trek episode, and truthfully, I only wanted to see this because I LOVE Chris Pine... BUT I REALLY ENJOYED THIS MOVIE!!! The acting was fantastic and there was the perfect amount of humour too. The effects were outstanding and, well, it was just totally awesome! I wish I could give it a 9.5/10 though, because I didn't really like the obvious romance between Spock and Uhura. I like both characters, but their open romance kind of killed Spock's character for me. All in all, a great movie which I will hopefully be able to buy once it comes out on DVD.
