It's just excellent because when I first saw the previews it was the kind of movie that I thought would be excellent and I asked my parents if I could watch it and I did and even during the movie I laghed my head off whenAlvin was taking a shower. I really recommend the children my age or older to watche this movie. Thank you.

I let my little brother rate this since it was a kids movie wouldnt be fair if I did. He loved it thats all that matters. I thought it had some funny parts but the acting of David was just awfull to say the least.

I took my kids to this movie, and my 9-year-old son loved it. I thought it was a little too simplistic, predictable and with very little substance in the way of a plot. No real acting to speak of. The computer-generated effects were fun and well done. It was funny enough to entertain the kids, but I probably would have waited for the DVD had I known what I know now.

I give this moive a ten stars. It is a masterpiece moive. I saw alivn and the chipmunks. I liked it. It was so funny movie. I like it. I would go to see it again with my friends at the goodwill.

Yes my eight year old nephew said "this is the cutest movie I have ever seen". I took my two great nephews to this movie because it was Alvin and the Chipmunks. My father past this year. He use to explain his name to children with pride" I'm Alvin, like the chipmunk. I have to say he would have been proud to be associated with this new movie and I bet he would have seen it twice. Take your children, too cute.

My niece told me this movie was coming out, I didn't know what she was talking about because she wasn't even born when it was showing on TV. Until I saw it 2days ago... It reminded me of the old days and the awesome voice LOLOL. Alvins the man.
