I finally had the chance to see this one. It is an enjoyable movie that really pushes the limits regarding subtlety of character. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite give it a full '10' because I never really got fully engaged. I am sure it is just me. But, put it side-by-side with "Junebug" and you might agree.

Excellent movie. Very funny. Should have won Oscar for best picture.

This was one of the best movies I have seen. Juno is a different girl who doesn't afford to be treated like a jerk. She takes responsibilities, but in a different way but still manege to do them. Even if she is a 16 year old girl and is pregnant she manages to go to school and doesn't bother listening to what the other people say at her.

Great movie, well worth seeing on DVD. It is evident why Ellen Page was considered for an Oscar.

O soo good loved it. I would so see it again. There was soo much comedy and sad parts but the comedy out ran the sad parts.

If you like obscure music references and quirky dialogue then you'll love this movie! In fact, as long as the above doesn't bother you, then you should still really like this movie. Every actor in the movie commits to their role and plays a significant part in the movie. It's especially nice to see a teen drama movie where the parents actually have something productive to say and aren't completely useless. No filler scenes and a good story with many great underlying themes. Go see it now!

I guess maybe it was too hyped up. I didn't really see this as more than an afternoon special. It was okay. The performances were alright. I guess I was expecting more than just a chick flick.

A terrific little movie - funny, warm, well directed and well acted. Ellen Page is terrific and Vancouver never looked better. The movie is a lot like Ellen Page, funny, quirky, but sometimes what is said makes you think.

[ATTENTION: This review reveals content of the movie.] Silly movie. Boring, overly scripted, wordy, not funny, romanticizes teenage pregnancy, and a definite anti-abortion bias. And this movie beat out the Kite Runner for an academy award? I heard so many great things about this movie, so my curiousity was piqued - all the more so as it was shot in CANADA with Canadian actors, and the screenplay written by Canadians - great publicity for the Canadian filmmaking industry. Boy, was I wrong. I sometimes wondered what were the screenwriter (s) were thinking when they wrote the script. Did they have their head in the clouds? Or perhaps a visit to a local youth help clinic for a reality check might have shed a little more insight. Most teen pregnancies are not from such well-off upper-middle class families, with such understanding & empathetic parents; most 16 yr-old pregnant teenagers don't have access to their parent's van to drive around whenever they please. The movie is not representational at all. The precocious, worldly, know-it-all," I'm-so-smarter-than- the-rest-of-the-world" attitude of the teenager was particularly annoying & unfunny throughout the film. All I could think of throughout watching this colossal bore was how could somebody supposedly so smart, be so pregnant? The movie may have been original, but funny it was not.

Any Movie with a song in by the greatest Rock and Roll band ever "Mott The Hoople" is worth seeing. Witty, enjoyable movie. Great movie to de-stress to. I'm glad she didn't flip about pregnancy and stayed grounded. If she had I'd still be stressed out.

I've browsed through all the reviews and it's funny to see how the comments that critisize the movie are the ones with the most negative/childish replies... what ever happened to a persons right to an opinion? This movie is boring, slow and unrealistic; I never expect much realisim from Hollywood but after all the hype I thought I'd check it out despite the fact that I'd heard that the movie had a vieled anti-abortion feel to it. I was dissapointed, the dialogue was annoying and not particularly funny, the acting was not amazing (although it wasn't that bad) and the ease with which she handled her pregnancy was laughable... a GREAT teen pregnancy movie would show a struggling teen mom (you know juggling work and school... and all the bullying/snide remarks that come from cruel people) whose boyfriend has left her after finding out that she's pregnant, who has an unsupportive if not slightly hostile family and who goes through a difficult pregnancy (morning sickniess, swollen feet, back ache, extreme mood swings. Fatigue and stress from social pressures ect) and who struggles emotionally between abortion and adoption, if she choses adoption she should go through periods where she regrets her dicission because she doesn't know where and with whom her baby will end up with ect ect THAT would be a great movie (given to the right actress and with the right dialogue), JUNO is not that kind of movie, it's too cookie cutter and shallow and even comes with a happily-ever-after ending, I honestly don't know what all the hype is about.

A nice refreshing movie finally. The ending I wasn't expecting really at all. But it's completely understandable. Thumbs up.

The characters felt very real for the most part, a lot more so than in most teen movies. The movie was very cleaver and drew you in from the start. Well acted and well written.

Surprising movie, my wife wanted to see it because of the review, but looking at the type of movie I wasn’t really interested. Generally if I go to the theater I’m looking for action, not a fan of going for drama or any slower type movie (save these for home) but to my surprise I actually liked this one, didn’t recognize any of the actors, but I appreciated the acting. Not the typical movie I’d recommend, but it was worth seeing.
