User's review

I waited a few days after seeing this movie to make up my mind what I think about it. My problem is that the director made a different movie than the one I wanted to see. I wanted to see a movie that would make me feel the way I felt after reading the book when I was 5; the director wanted to make one of those depressing low-key Art movies they used to make all the time back in the 70’s where everybody just wandered around aimlessly while being really sad. That whole Freudian/Jung subconscious archetypes thing hasn’t been interesting in 20 years. I don’t think this movie has anything to offer to anyone under the age of 25.
