I write this review for people who enjoy a film that requires some thinking, not people who get excited for movies like "Dance Movie" or "Meet the Spartans". So if you fall in the latter category, I beg you to please move on. I think the way the American army and government were protrayed in this movie, as arrogant and so sure of their might and power, reflects an image of the entire human race. Reeves' character impersonates the troubles (by that, I mean ecological trouble, wars and those awful things that are happening) that will be affecting us soon if we keep moving in the same direction as we are now, and just like in the movie, no great power can eliminate these problems, only change and dialogue can save us. I don't know if I read too much into the movie, maybe I needed to see this message somewhere to make me feel better so I imagined it, or maybe the message was real... Anyways, It feels good to see a movie that makes you think!!
