Well, execpt for the fact that the only cool part in that movie was the jumppack people then that movie is on my list of the worst ever. But you also have to take into concideration that this was in the 40's or so when that was top of the line stunts.

You obviously didn't get it. It's one of the best future fiction film ever. Nouvelle Vague cleverness in using the minimum elements to express a situation or state of mind or moral issue. The form answering the meaning and vice-versa in a sober mise en scène. [...]

The movie sucks!!! The book was very interesting, it actually showed today's civilization ignorance and lack towards learning, but the changed everything. It showed Montag as a happy guy while in the book it describes him as confused and unhappy. It just sucks... and it is also boring.

It doesn't matter what any of you pompous people say, it's a classic of its time! A book is a book, and a film is a film. Why don't you stop wining. Shut up, it's not a question. And it's not about your expectations or how true a movie should be to a book, it's about enjoying the film for what it is.

Fahenheit 451 was very boring. The book was actually interesting, the movie just put me to sleep. It could have been so much better, it seemed unrealistic to me and it ruined the whole point of the story.

If you loved the book, then STAY AWAY from the movie. It would have been nice if someone like Stanley Kubrick had redone this film, because the story by Bradbury was thought provoking. However, as hard as I tried, I could not convince myself to like this movie. I don't know, maybe it's just me.
