A wonderful movie about children taking care of each other and how motivated they can feel to help each other and their family.

How did they get Ali to cry so beautifully? I felt so sorry for the kids and how much one pair of shoes means to a poor family. They probably would'nt have gotten a beating from their father but little kids don't know that. Watck it just for Ali's acting... what a darling kid.

"Children of Heaven" takes you to the heavens and almost makes you a better human being. A MUST SEE MOVIE. All movies should be measured against this one. It makes Hollywood run for its money. A ***** motion picture.

This was one of the best films I have ever seen in my life -- truly. I cried through the last 3rd of this film. I could not find any fault in character, plot, tension, or poignancy. Its only rival would be Schindler's List or Sophie's Choice for 'tear factor'. My only regret is that I dicovered this film on a video shelf three years after release! I _wish_ international fims would get at least a fraction of the publicity that American films receive. This movie rated an Oscar consideration -- a 10+.

A cute film. Good family entertainment. It is nice to see a which is not from the West. I was suprised however that it won awards from the Montreal filmfest. I would wait for the video.
