Typical for a "scary" movie, lots of parts where stupid choices are made on behalf of the characters. However, it was pretty good, and I would say it was worth seeing.

Maybe I am being too generous... thought the ending was funny and frightening at the same time... bit too much like Cloverfield... the crying got a bit irritating, but the action element made up for it though... camera work hard to take if you are not expecting it... liked the part near the end when the female anchor started doing cartwheels over all the bodies... see ya.

When I first saw the commercials for the movie... I thought... ugghh another desperate attempt to make a descent horror film... yet I am a big fan of Jennifer Carpenter so I thought what the hell... I must say I haven't seen a movie that actually made me jump since alien back in the 1970's... The acting was spectacular and the way the movie was shot... in a first person view... really made me feel like I was a part of the movie! The thing about this movie is that the scares just keep hitting you... not once did I get a feel that the characters were safe... overall, the movie was truely great... I just hope that people will accept the fact that Quarantine is its own movie... (rec) and Quarantine are very different from each other...

It starts slow, then there's some action, then there's some crying like in Blair Witch but without the nose drip. It was okay but didn't do anything special for me. It'd rate it behind Blair Witch, Diary of the Dead and Cloverfield. It adds nothing new to the shaky camera style of film making.

Quarantine was a stupid movie wiht a good concept. I am a horror movie buff and this movie has a good idea but bad acting and even worse cinematography. Avoid it unless it's already on tv.

Very bad. I usually don't like scary movies because I always get scared, but this one wasn't even scary. I laughed at most parts, very predictable and annoying characters doing unrealistic things. When the movie was over, most of the audience was booing.

Omg, this movie is the scariest movie in the world! I don't even know why they allowed it to be played in theatres, you could have a major heart attack!!! Some people left not even half an hour into the movie, because it was THAT SCARY!!! Seriously this movie is the scariest [...] in the world!!! I AM WARNING YOU!!!

It was a very disturbing movie. It had no story line and the ending was absolutely horrible. Do yourself a favour and save your money and time. I just put a 2 to be nice. If there was a 0 I would put that instead.

I could name a number of movies that this one reminds me of but the list would be a bit long. I don't like the shaking camera type films. I'm sure we could all do without the camera shaking for effects the entire time. It gets annoying to say the least. I'm not too sure how people would react in real life to the situation that the characters fell victim to in the building but I can say with full confidence that nobody would hold a video camera the entire time. Not worth going out to see.

Really bad movie. The shaking hand held camera made me sick. The story line was pathetic. I just wanted everyone to die so the movie could end and I could go barf from nausea! Why didn't I leave? Don't make the same mistake I did. Save your money and time. You'll be kicking yourself if you dont take this advice!

This movie sucked a lot! If you don't have the stomach to watch people barfing, and a lot of blood, then this is definitely not the kind of movie you'd wanna watch. Waste of money, waste of time, and oh! The ending is exactly the last scene shown in the previews.

The beginning is kind of blah, but then once the action starts... I was never as stressed as I was during this movie!!! I knew that every minute there was someone jumping out and killing , and you're just there waiting and expecting it. At one point, I just started swearing lol. Until the last minute of the movie, I was stressed out... but in a good way though.

I have to admit that before they got to the apartment building things were a bit lame but once things started happening it was great. I found myself at one point during the movie with my arms wrapped around myself because it was so freaky and I didn't realize until near the end of the movie that I had actually finished off my licorice nibs. And I covered my eyes when the 'mutants' were being killed because of how violent it was. I jumped quite a few times. Overall I did enjoy this movie and it was a great scare. The 'mutant' at the end scared the crap out of me the most for some reason. Definitely see this movie if you want a good scare.

This would have been a lot better if you could have seen what was happening... the camera constantly shaking is really irritating but there was a good story line it was just impossible to catch because you couldn't tell what was going on. The actors are so stupid in this movie though they definitely all deserved to die. It's called don't turn your back to the things that 'might' kill you...

This Movie was a masterpiece and you must go see it. The characters in it were very good actors and were very entertaining. Anyone in their young teens would absolutely love this movie. It is my favourite yet. I cant get over how good it was. When the people were in the apartment building it was suspenseful, funny, thrilling, and overall amazing. I would recommend this to every single person in the world! Get it on dvd too its great to watch with your boyfriend on a late night date watching movies in the dark. The filming was also amazing, no shock. I still cant get over how awesomely good it was. Too good to be true , pretty much. You have to go see it in theaters. Also it would be good in HD too. A must see. Everyone should follow this review and go see it today!

I beg you to go see this ridiculous movie if you are into having strained eyes. You will watch the entire movie through a camera that seems to be filmed by a 1-1/2 year old toddler. Your eye muscles won't have the chance to relax and follow through as the constant shaking of the camera won't stop. Just 10 minutes past into the movie I wished the stupid cameraman was dead so my brain could tell my eyes: "phewww, now the toddler's gone and a pro cameraman is in charge... so enjoy it". I honestly came out of the theater nervous for first wasting time and money on such a idiotic and nonsense movie and second with a headache from my strained eyes. I think they should've rated this one as "Rubbish" instead of Horror. I just can't understand why they let these kind of garbage escape from the basement of a rookie movie maker and then into theaters.

Horrible movie. Don't waste your time. The trailer you see on t.v were she gets dragged, thats literally the ending. Like the sopranos were it just goes blank. Thats how it ends worst movie ever, even worse then cloverfield.

First, I would like to put this out in the open to all of you who are complaining about the "shaky camera". IT WAS SUPPOSSED TO BE THAT WAY, GET IT THROUGH YOUR HEADS ALREADY!!! Secondly, so what if the cameraman was suppossed to be a professional cameraman and that he should be able to hold a camera straight. OK, let's see, if there were mutant creatures trying to kill me, I'd be shaking alot too, so I wouldn't be able to hold a camera straight either. Personally, I loved the movie. Great acting on the most part. It almost makes you laugh st some point where the survivors survive being attacked in an astoudingly funny way. BUT, I say this. This is the first movie that really REALLY scared the ____ out of me. If you're looking for a movie to scare you, go see Quarantine. Please, to avoid this amazing and terrifying movie any more unjustified reviews, do not see this movie if you do not like this style of filming or if you get motion sickness easily. A true terror masterpiece.

This shouldn't have been made into a movie. It was awful. My friend and I nearly walked out halfway through the movie. It was just plain pointless and had the worst ending, which made it seem like there's going to be a sequel, which I would rather jump off a cliff before I saw it. This movie is just, yeah... I can't even comment anymore because it was so awful!
