Not too bad for a remake. It had its moments, though I was hoping for more.

It was okay, but I know it has a lot of scare blood and gore. But thats just modern stuff, way to much on the modern horror life-style, besides it's a remake, so you are not supose treat it like actuall original horror film, I know what you are thinking, I am like just because it has lot of nudity and something like that botter, well it didn't. Don't think as that kind of that guy. I am big fan of horror movies, my best ones are the classics. Modern is good too and I am not that in to remakes. Classics has a lot more suspense, creepyness and other shivering content. And Orphan was million times than modern elemental style film.

Friday the 13th is violently unpredictable and enjoyable. But once I realized that Michael bay had produced the film. I am not going to say why, but his filmmaking-style single-handedly ruined the whole film.

I think that Freddy vs. Jason 2 would have been a smarter move than this movie but you have to admire the guts the studio had releasing this movie which is set some time before both Freddy vs. Jason and Jason X. Nothing new just a good old slap happy slasher flick and to quite Jerry Seinfeld "Not that there's anything wrong with that." is a good way to say it this was worth seeing not as good as past ones have been but better than some horror movies like 2005's Land of the Dead so a good show check it out some time a great movie to watch with the light's off with your girlfriend that's what I did with my girlfriend. She really enjoyed it too.

This is quite possibly the best Friday the 13th, at least since the original 4. A great reboot to the series instead of a really lame sequal. Any slasher horror fan should appreciate it.

MORE than enough people got killed, and yet Jason couldn't be killed, that screams cheesy horror flic to me-and Friday the 13th may have been made in the eighties, but it's 2009 now and there's no excuse for such a week plot and unrealistic characters. Not when so much more could have been done with it. The characters really irritated me. What ill-experienced moron decided it would be a good idea to base every character on the stupidest stereotypes of todays teens... UNREALISTIC! The Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake was much more realistic and kept with possible events that could be believable, which is why it was a really good remake. Maybe try a little harder next time guys, Friday the 13th stunk.

I've been a fan since the first friday the 13th. I own them all, and this was by far a much better movie then recent attempts at reinventing jason (ex: Jason x, Freddy vs. Jason) If you are a true fan... you must see it in the theatres.

Jason should never run nor should he have that wraped head of gaus or however u spell it for one he should already have his mask 2. They shouldn't have put the line in there saying "go to hell Jason" b/c jason has already been to hell and back, 3 when they drop him in the water he shouldn't pop out of it since his only fear is water so he should be stunned.

Where do you begin about this movie?.. How about if you would like to see a comedy movie , go to see this movie , regardless of age that you are , you will find this movie Boring , and funny instead of scary.. I mean I'd say if you are younger than 10 years old or older than 75 , you might get a kick out of this movie.

This movie is worthless!!! just to make that clear. First off if you have seen any other Jason movie then you've seen this, the only difference is your gonna see different characters. Teens camping, sex, [...] 2nd group of teens camping, more sex, [...] credits roll. Enjoy :)

I've been a fan of Friday the 13th since I was 12 yrs old when I seen the first one. This is Jason reinvented and like you've never seen him before and they did it right. This was by far the Friday the 13th ever. If you are a fan of the movies you'll love this one. Can't wait to but it on DVD...

Amazing movie of the horror genre. Super scary, half-decent story line, lots of blood. The only thing I would change is the nudity; people watch a horror movie to get scared, not stare at boobs.

There was some boring parts but otherwise enjoyable. The humor was quite cool. Since when Jason takes a hostage? I understand why a lot of people were talking about how it ended but I won't say. My rating is between a 6 and 7 so I'll give it a 6. The best part series I've seen were 1 through 4 and part 6.

It was an ok attempt to remake the old series but the portrayal of Jason was lacking. He wasn't the good old Jason we all know and love... All in all I was disappointed in the character of Jason and the acting in general, the storyline was also a bit thin.

Wow!! I can tell you that this movie was amazing. The only thing is that if you didn't see the other series then it's hard to understand. This movie was very scary, and if you are ready to be terrified at night, then go see it.

The 10 is pretty much just for Jason, they made him seem more like a realistic phsycopath then an immortal wierdo. There was a lot of nudity, and the black guy was the only guy to put up a good fight [...] But the movie was really good too overall, worth seeing in the cinemas.

Alright well I have never really seen the the other Friday the 13th movies but this one was pretty bad. The acting was alright but there was barely any story line. It was just people having sex and Jason slaughtering them with a machete after... if any of the other movies are like this one the whole franchise is bull and a waste of time.
