Two twenty-year-old childhood friends (Jake Gyllenhaal, Jared Leto) come to terms with life, death and what it means to be an outsider. In 1994, they decide to leave Las Vegas. They embark on a road trip which quickly becomes a strange and twisted odyssey of the unexpected, the unloved, and the unforgettable.
