The film exposes the devastating effects of depleted uranium (DU) ammunition, deployed in Iraq, Kosovo and Bosnia despite the ban on its use enforced by The Hague and Geneva Convention. It shows how medical experts along with fellow scientists discovered areas in Iraq where radioactive contamination was 30,000 times higher than natural radiation levels. Dr. Siegwart-Horst Gunther, a former colleague of Albert Schweitzer, and Tedd Weyman of the Uranium Medical Research Center (UMRC) travelled to Iraq, from Germany and Canada respectively to assess uranium contamination in Iraq.

TEDD WEYMAN WILL BE PRESENT AT THE SCREENING. After the showing, he will discuss Canada's involvement in the production of DU weapons.
