This is a horrible movie. The special effects were poorly done and it totally ruined the whole mood of the movie because all the gags seemed so fake. It was a very corny movie that had a character possessed by a demon that did a lame little dance that was severely uncalled for. Do yourself a favor and save your money.

A fun horror movie with a good storyline. Excellently cast and fast paced, giving the audience a movie worth seeing.

Bof, le film ne m'a pas beaucoup captivé je trouvais certaines situations ridicules (le mouchoir qui attaque la fille par exemple) et la fin, elle, on pouvait la voir venir depuis le début. Au moins les acteurs étaient bons.

This movie was creepy, but good. Could use a lot of improvement, but I liked it. The mosquito part going in her nose and mouth were disgusting.

This movie couldn't decide if it was a spoof or actual horror. The plot was weak and there were endless sight gags that diluted any hope of maintaining the mood of a scary movie. The main character is attacked by a handkerchief. Need I say more? This movie dragged me to bad movie hell. It has no redeeming qualities other than the fact that it has an ending.

Great over the top horror fun from start to finish. Probably nothing will scare you, but you'll probably jump and get grossed out a few times. Certainly makes up Raimi's disappointing Spider-Man 3.

It was a good movie. I think what made the movie scary was the sound effects. That old lady was the key horror to this movie also. She kept throwing up! It was a well done movie to watch at the movie theatre! I do recommend people watching this movie. For my opinion it is better to watch it at the movie theatre because it gives the movie more of an interest and it helps out with the sound effects instead of at home watching it and turning down the volume and missing the good parts. This movie does sort of tell you when the scary parts occur but, it's ok.

I went to this movie (listed as a horror movie), it wasn't. Had a couple of funny moments in it, that's it. It definitely wasn't a horror. Waste of money.

This is Sam Raimi's apology for Spider-Man 3 and he's gone back to his original roots. This is the funniest film this year, next to The Hangover, and it extremely well made because practical special effects are usually better than computer generated ones.

Finally, a horror movie that is not only aim at teenager. Plus we get a lot of humor and a good and funny plot!! Horror writers should consider this flick as a model for what comedik-horror have to give to the audience.

If you are a fan of such classic horror films as Evil Dead, then I think you are in for a treat. This film is completely ridiculous, but that is its charm. It relies mostly on the 'BOO! ' scary format, but it then makes you laugh. It teases and taunts you and goes way over the top. It totally deserved a Bruce Campbell walk-on roll. See this in the theatre to be able to really have it all in your face.

I have been getting tired of all lately thriller and horror movies, and I wanted to give this movie a chance and guess what? It's different! It's intense and I loved it, its like an old school horror movie with the amazing special effects of nowadays... I really recommend this movie, specially in a theatre where the sound and the images are more intense... !!

All I can say is that when a employee at a bank gets assaulted in the most retarded way possible don't you think she would go home after it? Or get escorted to your car by the security guard? Or when screaming and car crashing gets no help at all in the bank parking lot? Ya people, it's that BAD do not see!!!

As you grow older horror movies have a harder time scaring you. I don't really get scared anymore and I'm not expert on the genre but I enjoyed this movie and consider it to be above average. The story was good and well paced. I was only genuinely scared once while most of the other times I laughed. Still I felt the scare attempts were not entirely predictable and best of all not a result of sudden turns of stupidity by the characters. It sort of lacks a great climax, it's good but it could've been more intense. Definitely some gross moments but when you're watching a horror movie you have to expect some grossness and gore. Seriously if you complain about that then you shouldn't be watching horror movies in the first place. It could've done away with the dissonant music at times which sounded like nails on a chalkboard. I'm thankful for the release of this original horror movie in an era filled with remakes.

Drag me to Hell was an amazing horror film. It was just like a classic horror film that should be, it's thrilling suspenseful, original. Usually the PG-13 horror movies I see are only good, not the best, but good, but this one really hit the spot. And director Sam Raimi is awesome. You should go see that movie.

Typical teen horror movies. One of the worst plots a big budget movie has ever had, the comedy aspect fell flat and felt forced, bad acting along with the "scares" that were "OMG SOMETHING JUMPED OUT" all come together to make this one terrible movie.

Great horror film. Back to classic terror rather than gory killing. Glad that the comedy was not too much that it ruined the feel of the fear... instead it made the horrible parts much more creepy. I wanna see this AGAIN!!!

What can I say... honestly didnt know it was a horror movie till I seen it listed as such. That in itself made me laugh. If u ever seen Army of Darkness, Bruce Campbell (awesome funny), then u will get the humour of this movie. Not as intense, but its there. If u enjoyed the Evil Dead series, then u should see this.

Seriously you guys? How on earth can I decide whether to see it or not with the reviews all over the map. Rotten T gave it 93% so I thought I'd give it a try, but check out the popular reviews first. Now I'm really confused! We'll probably go see something else and watch it on DVD.

I thought that this movie was going to be great but it wasn't that good I got the hole point of the movie but in the end its confusing and on a scale from 1-10 I would give it a solid 5 but really I would have to say the opening trailers for other movies were better.

"So so". Sam doesn't seem to have any new ideas. Much like the dangling demon scene, like a puppet, just silly ole Sam again. Yawwn... seen it before kind of thing (Evil Dead mish mashed into something less) Seems to be doing much better with the superhero stuff these days. Perhaps his horror making days are over, sob.

Amazingly suspenseful, Sam Raimi manages to keep things terrifying and still incorporate gross-out gags and irony like his Army Of Darkness days, I'd recommend this to anyone who appreciates the horror genre, or anyone just looking to get a good scare in them.

This movie sucks. I went to see it with my husband and he fell asleep. That's how bad it is. He's usually scared silly by horror movies. This isn't a horror movie at all. It's not even funny. Sam, where oh where did you go wrong? Don't see this piece of junk. It's a waste of time and of money.

This movie seems to be getting mixed reviews, which I totally expected. I, for one, really enjoyed it. It was Sam Raimi returning to the genre that made him... the B-Horror world of slightly comedic freaky movies. That being said, I thought the acting was ok. I've seen better in horror movies. Justin Long really doesn't do himself justice in this one, even though he's not the lead per say. But this movie isn't about acting, it's about chills, and it certainly does deliver them, and plenty... even in certain daytime scenes, which to me is the mark of a good horror movie. It's easy to give people the creeps in night scenes... but to do so in broad daylight takes great directing. This is definitely a throwback to the old low-budget horror flicks, so people who love the big budget remakes of Japanese horror flicks and such may not appreciate this one. But fans of the actual B-Horror movies will dig it! Welcome Back Sam Raimi, and let's hope you'll make another one of these within the next 4-5 years... maybe a new Evil Dead?!!! 7/10, Good movie, worth seeing (if you like the low budget feel of horror movies)

This is a dark humored fun and outrageous date movie for sure. The premise is simple, if you abandon your core values and beliefs (lets hope you have some) then the penalty is hell. Not necessarily being dragged to hell, but dealing with the consequences of being heartless. The main character was a heavy set girl that came from a humble farm, she loses weight and clones herself into a robot who's mission is success and impress. Then she's tested by life to show sympathy, instead she becomes greedy and cold just so she'll be granted a better job with better pay. Our defining moment in life isn't a career or a diploma, it's when your humanity is tested. Our lives are connecting and intersecting with so many others, eventually your actions or words will transform another's life for bad or good. Be careful or you may be dragged to hell. 5/5☆☆☆☆☆

I am not a fan of horror movies due to the fact they do not scare me. I jumped once throughout this film... and was to a loud noise at the beginning. There were parts that were gross, but nothing scary. Towards the end, I was antsy... it seemed like it would not END! If you are looking for a movie so you can jump into your man's arms or hide your face into his shoulder... skip this as an option. *I attended with my male friend (we have a complicated relationship) & we hadn't seen each other in a month and a half. We laughed instead of screamed. He paid. Neither of us really enjoyed the movie*
