This movie was terrible. It isn't funny and any romance is lame. This been-done-before story is not worth watching.

Renee Zewelleger did an amazing job in her previous films, however here she just seems tired. And come to think of it, this story is tired. Bad script gets a 3 for a couple of moments with the supporting cast.

Predictable... and clearly makes you question why anyone would pay to make this unimaginative movie. It has some entertaining value, but I have to admit I only watched it due to the stars... the story was average at best.

Silly comedy. Not even close to Bridget Jones or even Me Myself and Irene. Great disappointment!

The look that Renee had had me begging like a puppy, based on sex appeal going for her in this movie.

Renee Zellweger's acting was stellar in this movie. She really lived up to the role of a serious executive. Her acting is so versatile and believeable when comparing her to her role in Bridget Jones Diaries. Her acting is what really made the movie so good. I really had a great laugh and got lost in this movie. I highly recommend it to all!

It is one of the most sincerest movies I have ever seen, about the same level as the movie The Secret Life of Bees. It is about real people who say what they mean. I think Rosalie of The Secret Life of Bees, Blanche of New in Town, and Queenie of The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons portray special people. I am gald I was able to meet them.

Not my favourite Renee character; Bridget Jones is a total must see compared to this flop! The original premise sounds good, but after awhile, the storyline becoms a little boring. I'd wait to see it at home, if you wish.

The movie was ok but a little bit boring. They could cut some parts out. I didn't find it romantic at all. No funny jokes either. Expected more.

Another one the wife dragged me off to see. However, this one had me pleasently surprised. It was a pretty good show (at least not a chick flik) Rene has lost a lot of weight and looks real good!! The one thing I found rather strange was that..."accent"... the "Minnesotians" were speaking. Uhhmmm... not sure I know alot of people from Minnesota, but... it sounded more like a Newfie accent to me... Worth a watch regardless.

The script is lame and the characters are painfully shallow. My head still hurts from all the cliches. Wait for the DVD... to find its way into the 99 cent bin.

It was okay. It was about pudding or yogurt, something like that! It wasn't my favorite movie.

Better than I was expecting. Lead characters blended very well together. Very entertaining, would recommend it to anyone.

This movie really REALLY missed the mark. The premise is good, some of the acting is fine (although I do think that Renee Zellweger was sadly miscast. Sandra Bullock or Reese Witherspoon would have been perfect in this role) Harry Connick Jr. is fine, as always. What really bothered me and my companions was the borderline offensiveness of the portrayal of the locals as complete hicks and yokels. The scenery and settings were drab, and ugly - completely devoid of charm. We were truly disappointed.

Utterly funny, have not laughed this much at a movie for a long time. Renée Zellweger is great, so natural and so funny, along with the other actors. Heartwarming.

I liked this movie, it was funny, romantic and it shows just how ingenious women can be. A feel good movie for adults.

Loved the movie. Easy to watch, warm feelings generated from this movie. Renee Zellweger is at her usual pleasant self.

Renee has matured considerably and seems to have shed a lot. Her acting is passable, Connick is a charming guy. I liked more the tapioca woman. How could she not be advised about the cold in Minesota, esp. coming from Miami? Got dull, sometimes funny... The sequences were dark throughout... Not a must to see this movie...
