After the first half hour, I found myself watching this in a stupor, and began to wonder if there was any point to continue watching. This movie is not funny, or even interesting. Save yourselves.

This movie is supposed to be a comedy? Even as a black comedy it fails. It seems that the creative talent behind this movie simply ran out of comedic ideas before the halfway point and decided to re-invent the movie as a disturbing character study. Not a good movie by any means.

Okay this movie is GENIUS! Seth Rogen was amazing as always... and so was Anna Faris! It was stupid humour, of course- but exacted in a really intellegent way... hilarious scenes- some hard to watch, but that is what we should expect from a comedy... wayyy better than "I Love You Man"

I was really upset with this movie. It was pretty awful. Humor was AWFUL and some parts were EXTREMELY inappropriate, like WAY beyond the boundaries of a movie... even a Seth Rogen movie.

Definitely one of the worst movies ever made. Completely unfunny and very violent, with a delusional plot. I went to see it since I really like most Seth Rogen movies, but this one is just terrible.

This movie is a lot like when Jim Carrey did the cable guy. Don't go into this movie expecting to see a ha ha ha kind of movie. Just go into this movie and give it a chance. It was really touching funny awkward and great all at the same time with a few really great laughs!

Let me agree with the other reviews, good and bad. Weird, not funny, strange. However, if you look through the lens of "I wonder what life as a mall cop with bi-polar illness might be like? " and contemplate other illnesses, addictions and lifestyles... maybe the film has something to say.

This is literally one of the worst movies I have ever seen. My crew and I all felt as though we'd been mind-raped after we left the cinema. It seemed to start out ok, then the plot just died and the story line went from bad and pointless to exceptionally bad and pointless. Also, its sad they tried to make shooting up with heroin and murdering people with guns 'funny'. All the jokes totally back fired. It was beyond the worst waste of money, really, don't even bother renting it.

Oh my, I went to see this movie because the trailer seemed ok, and I was sooo dissapointed with this movie, IS A COMPLETED WASTE OF MONEY!! The movie had like 1 funny part and thats about it. Please do yourself a favor and dont waste your money on this.

Despite being an obvious Paul Blart: Mall Cop imitation, Seth Rogen didn't deliver nearly as well as Kevin James. I found it to be a bad attempt at in your face, that's just how it is humor and it only got a laugh out of me once or twice during the entire film. This is a classic example of when a supporting actor is given a lead role and is incapable of keeping the movie on a role. All in all, it's a decent movie that has no real memorable moments but is good for a few laughs. Maybe I don't have the right sense of humor for this film, who knows.

This is cult classic to be. It's quickly understandable why most people are not going to appreciate this very dark spin to the mall cop persona but to those that this movie targets, it hits all the right notes. This movie was really brilliant and although I realize that many parts of this movie are extremely subject and can be offensive, or not funny, I don't think it's the films fault for not-selling out to please the lowest common denominator. I think the previews were fair in the presentation of what to expect and it's everyone's own fault for being upset with this movie. It's like going to a boxing match and complaining that there was no kicks.

I went to see this movie not expecting much but I was even more disappointed then I thought I would be. At one point I looked at my friend and decided to get up cause I was tired of being so bored and annoyed of this movie... I cant believe that someone came up with such a stupidity, I thought mall cop was bad but it made was 100 toimes better than this garbage. FORGET ABOUT IT!

A heck of a lot of fun to watch. But what surprised me was how subversive this movie is. It sucks us in with comedic conventions and drags us on a downward spiral with them. It's a great ride.

This movie was so pathetically bad that it was a laughable disgrace to "comedy". Do people in Hollywood actually have any comedic intelligence anymore or they all losers with bad taste who happen to know people to get themselves filmed. I have no faith in the movie industry anymore, it's all going down hill. Shame.

I couldn't help but feel ashamed for Seth Rogen because I really like him, especially for Pineapple Express. The only word thatI can think of to describe this "movie" is: AWKWARD!! It really is... not funny/awkward... just AWKWARD... I felt like I needed to be on some really stong drug to be able to enjoy this because the person who made this movie was on something... that's the only explanation I can find to explain the piece of garbage I just paid 5$ to see. Yes I went on a tuesday and I'm complaining becaue it wasen't worth a penny... I NEVER walk out of a movie NEVER... unless I wanna sneak out to another movie, but I did it for this one. I stayed 1 hour and a half because I kept hoping something funny would happen... well it didn't!

I watched Observe and Report. I loved it. Man it was raunchy comedy just the way alot of people like it. Seth Rogens character is a like a messed up dude who over does everything. That hilarious. If you like crude comedy you definitely will laugh every 4 mins at the most. I'm gonna buy the Blu-Ray.

I usually really like Seth Rogen movies (loved super bad, knocked up) but this movie just wasn't very funny, the characters were undeveloped and the plot was everywhere. Rent it on video if you still think you might like it, but not worth going to the theatre for.

It was amazing, if your expecting a immature drug filled movie because its Seth Rogan, it's not, its funny and uses a different kind of humor, I was entertained the whole time. Such a hilarious movie, great one liners Seths the man.

I love Seth Rogen movies. This one sucked. There WERE funny parts, but his plunge into depression in the middle act was pathetic and stifled anything funny that came after it for a while. I would say the first 20 minutes and last 10 minutes were the only salvageable parts of this movie.

I believe the problem with this movie is the rating. It is rated as a comedy and people are expecting a joke a minute. Whereas the true rating is 'Satire'. This sarcastic 'Satire' has a lot of subtle messages that are most likely missed by people expecting traditional Seth Rogan comedy. One of the messages in this movie is hypocrisy, which I enjoyed very much. However I do hope someone slips Seth some homegrown to get him back on track and out of the hollywood sell out mode. I don't have high hopes for his upcoming film with Sandler.

Oh man, I don't even know where to begin! This movie had everything! Most things it didn't need though, they were blatantly put there to coax some laughter from half the audience that is either inebriated or "developmentally delayed." Oh, and I especially loved how it jumped from scene to scene with absolutely no cohesion! I'm definitely going to rent it when it comes out see if the Directors Cut can help the audience along. This movie is a work of art, unfortunately not like a cinematic work, more like a paper mache/macaroni piece a 9 year-old did.
